Riverbed accepts original English-language haiku and essays relating to haiku (including photo essays) for online publication. Previously published works should not be submitted.

Please limit your submissions to 10 poems or 2 essays per month. Additional submissions will not be considered.

The creator maintains the copyright on all material and gives Riverbed permission to use their submitted work in web and print materials published by Riverbed.

If your work is published in the journal, please credit the journal as Riverbed.

There is currently no payment available for contributors other than publication.

Send your submissions to Brock Peoples in the body of an email (not as an attachment) with “Riverbed Submission” and your name in the subject line. Submit essays as attachments. Please include a short author biography as well.

Submission deadlines are as follows: March 15 for Spring, May 15 for Summer, August 15 for Fall, and October 15 for Winter.
